Creating a GL Journal Entry Report Video

Now that you have created several different types of transactions in our CBOS 101 lab exercises, its time to look at the financial posting data that was generated from these transactions. 

Let’s continue reviewing financial reporting by looking at the GL Journal Entry report located within the Financial Reports menu. 

The GL Journal Entry report may include both manually entered and system-generated GL Journal Entries.  It does not include postings from the AR, AP, and other sub-ledgers. 

As a reminder, the steps to follow are:

1. Navigate to Financials > Reports > GL Journal Entry Report
2. Enter the report parameters and select start
3. The report results will open up in the HTML format 
4. Select and view the formatted report in Excel
